Gibson Family Reunion Part Two

AUGUST 29, 2008

We had a good start to our Friday morning with a devotional by Will. Then we all got ready to go to The Children's Museum of Denver. The Children's Museum was such a neat place. The kids loved it. When we arrived, we all found our reunion buddies for the day. Vance was one of the photographers, I was in charge of Brenna, Brady was with Uncle Will, and Logan was with Grandpa for the day! Uncle Will had a hard time keeping track of Brady, and one time Brady ran off on Will! Luckily Brady came and found me, so we knew where he was. Brady is quick, so you have to watch him every second! Brady's favorite spot was playing with the lockers! He could have done that for hours. He also liked grocery shopping, the fire truck, and climbing in the forrest.
There was even a room specifically for infants through 4 year olds, and Logan had fun there. He had fun spending time with Grandpa!
Brenna was such a good buddy! She loved the dance studio, painting, putting on a puppet show, going grocery shopping, and climbing in the forrest. They even had a place to make things out of recyclable items. Brenna and I made a lunchbox out of an old juice carton.
For lunch we had a picnic at a park that was near the museum. Darin went to get us Subway sandwiches, while we all finished up in the museum. Then we went back to Angie's house to rest up for the Barbeque that evening. The Bishop's and Mom and Dad were in charge of dinner, and they grilled hamburgers and hot dogs at Haney Park. The kids played at the park, and dad, Riley, Krist-Lynn, and Brett played a game of horseshoes. Then we ended the day with a devotional by Ben. After the kids were in bed, the adults played some board games. It was a fun time!
