2 Months

Clark seems very serious most of the time, but he started smiling at us at 5 weeks old.  He is also cooing and giggling.  It is very fun to see how much he has changed.  He is now 9 lbs. even and 21 in. long.

Christmas Day

Clark's First Christmas!

He got a Projection Mobile for his crib from Santa!

Logan was so excited to get his Toy Story Scooter that he went outside to try it out as soon as dad put it together!  He is a little slow, but he loves it!

Brady wrote a letter to Santa and asked for Spiderman Roller Skates!  He was so excited when he saw that Santa came through, and he wanted to go try them out.  Rollerskating was a lot harder than he thought!  We went over to Grandma and Grandpa Gibson's house in the afternoon, and they helped Brady learn to rollerskate.  I told Brady that "Practice makes perfect!"  He'll learn eventually.  The boys also got the Wii game, "MarioKart"!  It was a good Christmas!

Christmas Eve

Grandma and Grandpa Gibson came over for Christmas Eve dinner and program!  Vance fried the Turkey and made the mashed potatoes.  I made the salad and jello.  The boys were excited to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa.  After dinner we had the program, which was  watching a DVD that Grandpa brought of Baby Jesus.  Then that night, the boys were able to open one gift.  Brady got "Lego Star Wars" pajamas, and Logan got "Where the Wild Things Are" pajamas!

Christmas Tree Cookie

Vance's Mom had the cookie cutters and directions on how to make the the Christmas Tree Cookie.  We cut out and cooked all the stars that we needed for the tree.  The next night, we went to put the tree together, and we noticed a couple stars missing.  The boys confessed to eating the stars.  They said that they just couldn't wait to eat them!  We made it work!  The boys had fun helping Dad make and decorate the tree!

Brady's Five Year Birthday Party was at Chuck E Cheese!  He told everyone, "My party's going to be CRAZY!!"  Nani, Grandpa, Stacey, Angie, Darin, Gavin, Ellie, Dane White, Joan David, Cole Gassen, and Bryson Paul were at his Party to celebrate with us.  He was so excited until Chuck E Cheese came and it was time for him to blow out his candles.  He was a little nervous to have all eyes on him!  Overall, he had a great time!  He was definately the Birthday Star!!

The Gingerbread House

We decided it would be fun to make a gingerbread house for the Family Home Evening activity.  Brady invited Nani and Grandpa to help.  The boys had fun putting on the candy, and also trying to eat the candy before it made it on the house.  The frosting never set up very well, so the roof kept sliding down.  The house didn't stay up very well, but the boys had fun anyway!

Christmas in November

The day after Thanksgiving, we celebrated Christmas with the Skidmore's because Nani, Grandpa, Stacey, Burke, and Germania were going to Brazil for Christmas.  We decorated the Christmas Tree, and opened the gifts from Nani and Grandpa Skidmore.  We even were able to see Great Grandma Skidmore, and spend time with her.  We were also able to go in the spa because Grandpa heated it up.  The boys had fun spending time at Nani and Grandpa's house with their cousin, Abby.

Clark at 1 Month

Clark is always stiff, and has a hard time relaxing.  He loves to put his hands near his face all the time.  He is little, but he sure is strong.  He can hold his head up, and he likes to straighten his legs to stand up.  He is hungry all the time, and he doesn't let up forget it.  His favorite position is for me to stand up, with him facing outward, and bouce him.  He weighs 8lbs. 4 oz. and is 20 in. long.  He is our sweet boy!

Big Brothers

Brady and Logan are such good big brothers.  They love Clark, and always try to be so helpful.  We still have to watch them like a hawk because even though they think they are helping,  they are too rough with him.  They are learning, and try to do the best they can!

Clark's First Bath

Clark did not like the bath!  He started screamming from the minute he touched the water.  He seemed uncomfortable and scared.  We hurried through the bath, and even tried to change him quickly because getting changed has always been a big deal to him.  When he was finally changed, I picked him up, and he immediately was happy.  I guess he realized that it is better to be clean!

Crazy Clothes

Brady had picked out different shorts to where, but they were dirty.  When it was time to get him ready to go to Pre-school, I asked him to go change his shorts.  He came down wearing his swimming trunks.  I wanted him to change, but I realized it really didn't matter as long as he was happy.  Some battles are better left alone.  Grandma Gibson was the one to drive him to Pre-school today, and she said to let him wear what he wants.  We all had a good laugh about it.

Patty's Birthday

What a perfect way to celebrate my 34th Birthday!  Grandma Gibson and Aunt Angie and Ellie came over to visit.  Grandma Gibson made my favorite fudge frosting cake with pecans sprinkled on top!  It was a good birthday, and who could ask for anything more than having Clark James Skidmore here with us!  He is so precious!
Ellie and Clark met for the first time today!  Thay are only one day apart, and Ellie is older!

Clark James Skidmore was born October 28, 2009 at 8:08a.m. at St. Rose Dominican Hospital Siena Campus in Henderson, Nevada.  He entered this world with his arms up like superman, so the name is only fitting.  He was my biggest baby weighing in at 7 lbs. 5 ounces and 19.5 inches long.
