New Year's Eve

We spent the afternoon with the Skidmore side of the family at the park.  Then we went to Sport Chalet to rent Skis for the boys.  It was a big process to get everyone fitted for Skis.  The boys are excited and a little nervous to learn to Ski.

We spent the rest of the afternoon and evening with the Gibson side of the family.  Chrissie, Becky and I opened presents for our Christmas gift exchange.  We always do a cousin and adult Christmas gift exchange at New year's time every year because that is when we usually get together with everyone, but this year since we were not all going to be together, we decided not to do a cousin gift exchange this year.  Angie had Chrissie, Chrissie had me, and I had Becky.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
We had our traditional Slush and Snacks!

We also had the best VIEWS of the fireworks on the Strip!

Brady's Baptism

We had a big Turkey Dinner with everyone at Nani and Grandpa Skidmore's house before the baptism.  It was fun to visit with everyone.

Then for the most important event--Brady's Baptism!  I am so proud of Brady's decision to be baptized.  He has grown so much, and he is a good example to his brothers.  It was a nice program!  The spirit was so strong!  Grandma Gibson gave the talk on Baptism, Nani Skidmore gave the talk on the Gift of the Holy Ghost, and the cousins sang "I Am A Child of God".  We are so thankful for everyone that came.

That night we had Abby, Quinn, and Cameron spend the night at our house.  They all started in the living room, but only Logan and Quinn stayed here the whole night.  Brady and Cameron ended up going up to Brady and Logan's room to sleep the rest of the night.  Clark slept in his room, and Abby ended up being sick, so I put her in the room close to me so that I could hear her.  Poor Girl!  Everyone had fun, but they didn't get much sleep!  Imagine that!

Family Comes To Town

It was so fun to have family in town for the New Year's Celebration.  Since both sides of the family were in town, that meant that we had to split our time.  We spent the morning with the Skidmores.  Nani and the kids made these cool Cookies with Jolly Ranchers in the middle.

Clark fell asleep on our way over to Grandma and Grandpa Gibson's house.  I thought we could wake him up when we got there, but he was out.  He stayed asleep all night!  Brady and Logan had so much fun with  their cousins.  They jumped on the trampoline, played Legos, danced, and had a fashion show.  We had a fun time!

DAY 25--Christmas Day

I can't believe Christmas is here!
The boys tried Egg Nog, but Clark was the only one that liked it!  I think Brady and Logan had already made up their minds that they didn't like it, but they did try a little sip to humor me.

SANTA CAME!!

We had to put up a barrier so that the boys would go down stairs on their own!  They don't wake us up any more.  I heard Clark come out this morning, and he said, "OH NO!!"
They were too excited to see what Santa brought!
Success!  They all loved their presents!
Brady got the green bike, Logan got the orange bike, and Clark got the Star Wars Millennium Falcon play set.

 MORE PRESENTS!

 Batman Movies
Batman 2 and Mario-Sonic Wii games
 Cars 2 track set
Lego Star Wars Set from Clark

 UNLV Shirts
Vance and I got a good book from my parents.

Brady and Logan trying out their new bikes!
We had a good morning, and the boys got so many things.  Then we headed over to Vance's parents' house to have brunch, and then open more presents.  We also worked on the puzzle.

Clark loves his Ninja Turtle Skate board Toy from Nani.
We gave Nani a Dutch Oven.  She was so excited!
We gave Burke and Germania the Magic Bullet.  They were so excited!

Brady got a football, and he wanted to try it out.  They went in the back yard to play some football.
It was a fun Christmas!  According to Brady, "This is the best Christmas Ever!"  We are so lucky to have family so close!
