Pumpkin Carving

Brady picked out the stencil.  It's supposed to be Bats in flight.  They had a fun time, and now we are finally ready for Halloween!

Clark's First Birthday!

Clark really got into his cake, and loved every minute of it!
After the much needed bath, he opened his presents with the help of Batman and Robin!

Books from Aunt Stacey.
Toy Story Ride along from Nani and Grandpa Skidmore.
Baby Basketball from Mom and Dad.  Brady and Logan gave Clark Sunglasses and Sippy Cups.  He also got a Stuffed Animal Alligator from Grandma and Grandpa Gibson.  He loves it, but I didn't get the photo.  Thanks to everyone for the gifts and cards!  Clark had a great Birthday!

12 Months

I took Clark to get his one year photos taken today.  It was challenging, but we got some good photos of him.  He had his 12 month doctor's appointment yesterday.  He weighs 20 lbs. 8 ounces, 27 1/4 inches tall, and his head circumference in 18.  He is now facing forward in  his car seat.  He loves it.  He also is off of bottles, and is drinking whole milk from sippy cups.  The transition went very well from bottle with formula to whole milk in sippy cups.  He loves milk.  He has not taken any steps yet.  He'll balance and stand there on his own for quite awhile and think about it, but then he just goes into crawling.  He is just growing up too fast, and we love him.

Brady's Award

Brady's teacher picked him to be one of six students to receive the Responsible Roadrunner Award.  He loves his class and teacher, and he must be doing good in school to earn this award.  It was so fun to see him sitting up on stage acting like such a big boy.  I am so proud of him!
Here are the other kids in Brady's class that received the award.

Eve's Baptism

We were so glad to have the opportunity to be with Eve on her special day.  We represented the Gibson side of the family.  Eve looked so beautiful that day, and she even seemed more mature.  She is such a good example to my boys.  Brady and Logan especially were excited to see a live baptism.  Brady said, "I want to be just like Eve when I'm 8 years old and be baptised!"  Logan, being younger, didn't quite understand everything because he said, "Why is Uncle Will getting baptised?"  It was a good learning experience for him.  It was a great day, and the boys had fun spending time with their cousins!

Visit with Lynleigh and Cameron

October 3, 2010
We watched the morning and afternoon sessions of General Conference.  I printed off pages from a General Conference packet for the boys to do during General Conference.  It is always a challenge to get the boys to be quiet so that Vance and I can listen to the Conference.  They did okay, but it was still hard for them even with the coloring pages.  They just rushed through the pages.  I guess I didn't print off enough.  Overall they did good.  Then we went to Nani and Grandpa's house for Dinner.  Nani made Vance's Birthday Dinner!  We also got to see Lynleigh and Cameron.  It was a fun time!
October 4, 2004
The boys had fun playing with Cameron, and seeing Aunt Lynleigh.  Cameron loved playing with Brady and Logan!  He thought he was such a big boy!  The boys played with Cameron until Lynleigh and Cameron had to go to the airport!

Happy Birthday Vance!

It was a great day!  We started the day by making Vance Breakfast.  We wanted to give it to him in bed, but we woke up a little late so it ended up being breakfast in the car.  The boys were such good helpers!  They helped make the cake, pick out and wrap the presents, and they helped pick out the card!  They wanted their Dad to have a special day, and it was!

Busy Saturday's

We watched the morning session of General Conference, and then we went to Brady's Soccer Game.  He had a good game!  Then we went to Caden's(Brady's friend on his soccer team) Birthday Party!  The Party was a Star Wars theme.  Obi Wan Kenobi, Darth Vader, and Chewbacca visited the party.  They made the kids light saber's out of balloons, played games with the kids, and gave out candy.  They also got to hit a pinata at the party, play at the park, and ate pizza.  It was a fun party!
Then we went to Nani and Grandpa's house while Vance went to the Priesthood Session with his dad!  It was a fun but tiring day!

Visiting with the Dawson's

The boys love to play with their cousins, Abby and Quinn.  Nani and Grandpa Skidmore got this new teeter totter for the grandkids, and they love it.  We also went to the park, and we still were able to go swimming (even in October) with them.
