6 Months

Clark is now sitting up!  He does pretty well, but occasionally he'll fall back after awhile.  We put pillows down just in case he falls.  He still also likes to roll all over the place, and he is even trying to figure out the army crawl and sometimes he tries to push up on his knees.  He does push himself forward to reach a toy out of reach.  This is such a fun stage, and Clark is so happy these days.

Swimming at the Skidmore's

The Boys love to go swimming in Nani's pool.  This was Clark's first time in the pool, and he loved it!  Brady has turned into a pretty good swimmer, and he likes to show us all he can do.  Logan on the other hand, has developed a fear of deep water.  He is perfectly fine playing on the first stair with his floaty on.  When I tried to take him out beyond the stair, he would scream and cling onto me for dear life.  I think this fear started last year, but I had forgotten how bad it was.  He loves going in the pool, but don't take him past the first stair!!

Bye Grandma and Grandpa Gibson

It was good to see Grandma and Grandpa Gibson before they leave on their mission to South Carolina for a year and a half.  Angie and Darin made a great send off dinner!  We are going to miss them, but we know they are going to have many blessings!  We love you guys!

Rolling Over

Clark has mastered rolling over!  He now rolls from his back to tummy!  He figures out where he wants to go, and he'll do multiple rolls to get there.

Easter Sunday

Clark's First Easter!

Brady and Logan got ties and candy in their easter baskets, and Clark got to play with empty eggs!  We also enjoyed watching General Conference at home.  Then we went to Nani's house for dinner!

Easter Activities

Double the Fun
Grandma and Grandpa Gibson's House 4/02/2010

We colored easter eggs, and then we hunted for them.  Then we went to Angie and Darin's ward Easter Party.  Grandma Gibson watched Clark and Ellie while we went to the party.  We had to fill in the blanks from the scriptures about Jesus to enter the party.  Then we were able to go around to the different games.  They did the bunny hop, made hats, pinned the bow tie on the Bunny, and so much more.  The boys had a lot of fun at the party!  Then we went back to the house for ham and potato salad.

Nani and Grandpa Skidmore's house 4/03/2010

The Dawson's were in town, so we went over to Nani's house and colored easter eggs and hunted for them. Logan had fun coloring eggs and his hands green. He also enjoyed stamping paint on the eggs and putting stickers on the eggs. A lot of the eggs he did ended up cracked. After the egg hunt, we had a barbeque. Then since Kiley's brother was in town, and his kids wanted to go swimming, we heated up the spa! We all had a fun time!

Swimming Lessons

I signed Logan up for free swimming lessons through Clark County. I thought it would be good for him to take them with his cousin, Gavin, before the summer started!  Logan was so excited until it was time to get in the water. Even Coastie, the ship, had a hard time convincing him. They had Coastie come to talk to the kids about safety.  Anyway, Logan would only stay on the stairs, and he would blow bubbles, kick, and splash.  He would not let the teacher take him out beyond the stairs! Good thing we have Nani's pool to practice !
