11 Months

Aunt Angie made Clark this "Superman" quilt.  He loves it!  Clark is so fast at crawling now.  If I turn my head for a second, he is all the way up the stairs.  We finally resorted to getting a gate!  He is also becoming clingy to me.  I can't even leave the room without him crying.  He is fine if he can see me.  It is nice to feel loved, but it's hard to get anything done.  Clark is so fun, and Brady and Logan like to play with him more, but sometimes they are too rough.  Clark is a tough kid, but we still have to remind his brothers that he is still a baby!

Soccer

Brady loves playing Soccer.  He started practicing on August 17, 2010.  He practices every Tuesday and Thursday, and his games are on Saturday.  His team is called the "Sidekicks".  There are 7 players on the team, and they play 3 on 3 in the games.  His team is pretty good, and Brady is getting better all the time.  He has scored one goal so far, but  he is having fun and that's what matters.

Scrapaway

It was fun to spend time with my sisters, and catch up on the scrapbooks.  I was away Friday and Saturday!  I had a fun time!  I am so thankful that Vance was able to watch the boys so that I could spend time with the girls.
Vance dressed all the boys in their soccer outfits.  They went to Brady's Soccer Game on Saturday, and Brady scored his first goal.  He called me, and he was so excited.  It was a great day!

New York Trip

Wednesday, 9/08/2010

We took Clark, and Brady and Logan stayed with Nani and Grandpa Skidmore!  They had just as much fun spending time with Nani and Grandpa!
We left Las Vegas, NV at 6:30am Pacific time, and we arrived in New York around 4:00pm Eastern time.  We took a taxi from the airport to Brett and Kristi-Lynn's apartment, and met Kristi-Lynn and Sadie.  We walked to Brett's work, and then went to Dinner at "Serendipity", which is a famous restaurant in the movie Serendipity.  We tried the Frozen Hot Chocolate, and It was good!

Thursday, 9/09/2010

We hung out with Kristi-Lynn and Sadie in the morning.  We went to the Apple Store, FAO Schwarz, and toured Central Park.  It is so beautiful!
Then Brett and Kristi-Lynn watched Clark while Vance and I went to the David Letterman Show starring Jack Hanna.  He brought on the show many different animals, such as Lemurs, Lion Cub, and an adult size Cheetah. Henry Winkler was also there sitting in the audience for part of the show.
After the show, we went to dinner at "Planet Hollywood", and then we went to see "Phantom of the Opera" on Broadway.

Friday, 9/10/2010

Brett was able to take this day off, and we went to the US Open.  We saw the Bryan Brothers win in the Men's Doubles Final, Kim Clijsters beat Venus Williams in the Women's Semi-Final, and Vera Zvonareva beat Caroline Wozniacki in the other Women's Semi-Final.  It was fun to see live matches, and the weather was great.  Then that evening we went to Citi Field to see the Mets play.  The Mets lost, but we did enjoy some good food at the "Shake Shack"!  We had fun learning to take the Subway!  The Subway rides are always an adventure!  Clark was a good trooper.

Saturday, 9/11/2010

We rode the Ferry, and saw the Statue of Liberty.  We went up to the Pedestal, and we watched Sadie while Brett and Kristi-Lynn went up to the Crown.  It was such a beautiful day, and it was fun to see the sites.  We also went to Ground Zero, New York Stock Exchange, and walked part of the way on the Brooklyn Bridge.  We had some famous New York Pizza, and it was good.  That night we met our friend, Shaun, at the Manhattan Temple, and then we drove to his house in New Jersey.

Sunday, 9/12/2010

We went to church with Shaun and Maria and family, and then we visited with them the rest of the day.  They were great hosts, and it was fun to see them.  Thanks for a great time!

Monday, 9/13/2010

We rode the bus back into the City, and we met Kristi-Lynn and Sadie back at their apartment.  Then we went to the Empire State Building.  We walked back to their apartment, and on the way we saw Rockefeller Center, United Nations, and we got a cupcake at "Magnolia Bakery"!  Then it was time to catch a taxi back to the airport.  We were supposed to leave at 5:30 Eastern time, but we sat on the runway for about 2 hours due to some weather delays.  We finally took off, but we missed our connecting flight in Denver, CO so we had to spend the night in Denver.  I was tired and in a panic because Vance's Mom had to work at the Temple.  Luckily, I was able to find someone to take Brady to school in the morning and watch Logan until we were able to get to Las Vegas.  We arrived in Las Vegas, NV on Tuesday, 9/14/2010 at around 11:10am.  We rushed to get our luggage, which was waiting for us at the airport, and met Burke in passenger pick up.  We made it to pick Brady up from school, and take Logan to Pre-School.  It was crazy, but everything worked out in the end, and we had a great time.  Thanks to Brett and Kristi-Lynn for being such great tour guides.

10 Months

Clark went on his first airplane ride and trip to New York.  He is ahead of his brothers because they have never been on an airplane.  He slept most of the time on the plane.  He is such a good traveler!

Logan goes to Pre-School

Logan was so excited for his first day of Pre-school that he was ready to go when we took Brady to his school.  Logan's Teacher is Miss Joy, and he goes on Tuesday's and Thursdays from 12:00-2:00.  I pick Brady up from school at 11:35, and then we go to Logan's Pre-school to drop him off.  Brady went to this same pre-school, so we know and love Miss Joy.  On Logan's first day, we picked Brady up at 11:35, and I went to start the car, but the car wouldn't start.  I thought, "Why did this have to happen today of all days?  We're going to be late."  Then I looked around and found a nice lady to help me jump the car so that I could take Logan to school.  It took a lot of effort, but we finally got the car started.  I dropped Logan off, and he was only 5 minutes late.  He was a good trooper through my brief panic attack.  Then I picked Vance up for lunch, and he took the car in to get a new battery so that this wouldn't happen again.  It was a crazy day, but we survived, and Logan had a good time on his first day of Pre-School.
