We finally arrived in Redrock, AZ to see the Heflins. The boys were super excited to see the cousins. They always love a good wrestle with their Uncle Vince to get all of their energy out after a long car ride!

The Heflins have a cool community pool! We spent the day there, and Riley brought the Ice Cream Truck to the pool to get some business. Running the Ice Cream Truck is Riley's First Summer Job, and he looks so grown up! The boys loved to get ice cream from Riley! When we first got to the pool, Clark went down both slides one time, and loved it.(Didn't get a picture of Clark on the slides.) Logan was scared to go down the slides. He went up to go down, but he just wouldn't do it. We were all trying to convince him (even the Lifeguard) to go down the slide, but he wouldn't do it. Bryant finally decided to go down the slides for the first time, and he loved it. That was all he did the rest of the time at the pool. Brady of course loved the slides. We all had a good time hanging out at the pool! Then we went back to the house, and we had Eegees for dinner. We couldn't go to Arizona without having an Eegees! It was so good!

Today we went to church with the Heflins. It was Riley's first time going to the church building for church since he has been diagnosed with Leukemia. He would watch church via skype. It was so good to see him. We love to see him doing well! We had a good time with the Heflins!

Today was Brady's appointment with Doctor Heather. She has come highly recommended. Doctor Heather has helped Riley with his allergies, and helped him feel better, so we wanted to see if she could help Brady overcome his Eczema and Asthma. Doctor Heather discovered that Brady is sensitive to Gluten (Wheat Protein) and Casein (Milk Protein). We decided that after all of our summer trips, we will try to help Brady avoid Gluten and Casein. Hopefully this is the answer to help him overcome his Eczema and Asthma. We'll see!
After the appointment, we went back to the Heflins. We packed up, said our good-byes, and headed back home to Las Vegas. We stopped at Ikea in Tempe, Az for a lunch break on our way home. It was a fun trip.

Father's Day
We brought Vance Breakfast in bed. Clark wanted to share with his dad! The boys really got into Father's Day this year. They made him cards, Brady gave him some papers that he made at school for him, and I helped the boys make a picture puzzle for their DAD! We love him! He is such a great husband and Father!

The Circus
We had a great time at the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus. Vance's social group at work got tickets. The boys loved all the animals, and all of the tricks that were performed! Brady's favorite was the trapeze artists, and Logan's favorite was the motorcycle riders. Clark was a little restless towards the end, but what do you expect from a two year old.

Swim Party
What a great way to start off the summer with a swim party! Stacey invited the Kanet's over for a barbeque and swim. She also invited Eulista and her Mom over. We had a fun time catching up on old times. Logan and Clark loved playing with Ellie and Reagan. We also were able to meet there new little boy, Mason. The kids loved the smores. You can tell because it was all over their face! It was yummy!

Camping Trip
Friday, June 8, 2012
Yesterday was Brady's last day of school, so he is officially on summer vacation! We decided to go camping since the boys missed the father and sons outing this year. We went up to Mount Charleston to find a camping spot. We took a risk by not reserving a spot, but we found a camping site. We set up camp at the Hilltop Campgrounds. The boys were so excited to help their Dad put up the tent. After we set up camp, we had some time before dinner, so we went exploring and found a cool climbing tree. Then we came back to camp, and cooked dinner over the camp fire. The boys had hot dogs, and we had foil dinners with potato and vegetables. It was so good! Then for dessert we had smores. The boys loved it! During dinner, the host camp lady came to welcome us to the camp. She said that around 8:30pm she was going to do a presentation on wildlife that you could find in the area. The boys really enjoyed the presentation. Then we got ready for bed and went to sleep. Clark got up in the middle of the night, and tried to escape, but his head got stuck in the tent door. Good thing he got stuck because that's how we heard him -- "I stuck! I stuck!" Other than that we all slept well, and stayed warm. It was a pretty windy night!

Today we woke up early, had cereal for breakfast, and then we packed up. Then we headed off to find a short hike that we all could do. It took awhile, but we finally found a hike that we could all do. We hiked the Robbers Roost Cave Trail. The boys loved climbing the rocks, and Brady was interested in watching the professional rock climbers that were there with all their equipment. It was a fun hike! We got home around noon, and all the boys were exhausted! We had a fun trip!
