Up and Coming Wii Player
Clark likes to copy his big brother, Brady! He is pretty serious about playing the Wii. I think we might be in trouble with another addicted Wii player. Clark is pretty funny to watch how much he gets into it. We'll definately have some boundaries put on the Wii playing.

First Haircut
We finally got the courage up to cut Clark's hair. His hair was just too long and unruly! It was long over do, so here goes nothing. I started with guard #8, and Clark would cringe and then laugh. The clippers would tickle him! It ended up being a good experience. Vance finished the cut by trimming the sides with the scissors, while I held Clark's head still. They are just too wiggly at this age! All in all...Clark loved his first haircut.

Disney on Ice
Vance is part of the social group at his work. Once a month, they get together and do some fun activity. This month they got tickets for Disney on Ice. The Boys had so much fun. Their favorite was seeing the Toy Story characters. They kept asking when they were coming, and finally at the end they showed up.

Red Rock Canyon
Logan's Pre-School goes on Field Trips every once in a while. One of the mothers in the morning class organizes it all, and she invited the afternoon class. I fell like I am always doing things with Brady that I thought it would be fun to have some time with Logan. I asked one of my friends if she could pick up Brady so that I could do this with Logan. We went to the Red Springs area of Red Rock Canyon which is at the end of Calico Basin Road. Aaron from the Park Service was our tour guide. We went on a nature hike, and I was able to bring the stroller for Clark. There was only one girl from his class that was there, so they would stick by each other the whole time. Her name is Elliot, and they were so cute together. They had so much fun learning about the plants and animals that you would find in that area such as Cactus, Goats, and Tortoise. Then at the end of the hike, we had lunch. It was a fun time, and a beautiful day for a hike. Clark was very good, and had fun until the very end when we were leaving to go home. We were walking on the sidewalk to go to our car, and I turned around to help Logan with something. I needed both hands to help Logan, so I let go of the stroller. I forgot to put the breaks on, and pour Clark rolled off the sidewalk, and got a big bump and scratch on his forehead. I felt like such a bad mom, and I felt so bad for Clark. I put some Neosporin on it, and I worried about him all day but he looks like he is going to be just fine.

Tutu and Papasan
This was Tutu and Papasan's last night in town, so we all went to eat at the Green Valley Ranch Buffet. It was good, and we had a fun visit with Vance's Grandparents.

New Year's Day
Since my kids don't get to see the snow much, they were so excited to play in the SNOW! We don't have SNOW ATTIRE, so we borrowed some things from Aunt Becky! That's why Logan has pick gloves, and Clark has pink Boots. They don't care as long as it kept them warm! Brady wouldn't change his gloves even though they aren't as good as the pink ones! He had to wear his spiderman gloves! The kids had so much fun in the snow!

New Year's Eve
We drove up to Becky and Ben's yesterday, and it took us eight hours to get there! We were first held up in Vegas for an hour getting out of town. There was an acciddent at I-15 and Sahara, and we were just crawling for an hour. Once we were past that, the roads were good. We ate dinner in Saint George, UT. We thought about staying the night at Susie's, but the roads seemed fine, and we just wanted to get to Ben and Becky's. So on we went! We got to Cedar City, and the roads were icy and there was a light snow fall. It wasn't too bad, but the snow started to fall harder when we got to Beaver. Once we past Beaver, the snow started to let up. Then the snow staopped until we got to Nephi, and once we past Nephi, the snow stopped again. We finally made it to Ben and Becky's at one in the morning. Brady and Logan were awake when we got there, and Brady fell into the snow as he got out of the car. When Logan got out of the car, he said "What is this stuff?" My kids just don't know about snow! It was a late night, but we were glad to be there!
On New Year's Eve, we slept in, and then Becky and I went to lunch, and we went on some errands, while Vance and Ben watched the kids. By the time we got back, the Dixon Family had arrived! The kids worked so hard on preparing a play for us. They "acted" and sang "We Wish you a Merry Christmas" and "Jingle Bells"! It was so cute! Eve instigated the whole thing!
The cousins had so much fun hanging out together.
We put the gate up for Clark when we wanted to keep him upstairs, but he always seems to find a way around the obstacle. He's too funny!
It was so fun to see and hold Drew! He is so cute!
Of course we had to keep up the tradition of having fondue and slush on New Year's Eve. We had a Chili Fondue for Dinner, Chocolate Fondue for Dessert (it's the best part), and we rang in the New Year with Slush!
We all made it to midnight except for Logan and Clark! It's going to be a great year!
...TOO TIRED!
