New Year's Eve

We drove up to Becky and Ben's yesterday, and it took us eight hours to get there!  We were first held up in Vegas for an hour getting out of town.  There was an acciddent at I-15 and Sahara, and we were just crawling for an hour.  Once we were past that, the roads were good.  We ate dinner in Saint George, UT.  We thought about staying the night at Susie's, but the roads seemed fine, and we just wanted to get to Ben and Becky's.  So on we went!  We got to Cedar City, and the roads were icy and there was a light snow fall.  It wasn't too bad, but the snow started to fall harder when we got to Beaver.  Once we past Beaver, the snow started to let up.  Then the snow staopped until we got to Nephi, and once we past Nephi, the snow stopped again.  We finally made it to Ben and Becky's at one in the morning.  Brady and Logan were awake when we got there, and Brady fell into the snow as he got out of the car.  When Logan got out of the car, he said "What is this stuff?"  My kids just don't know about snow!  It was a late night, but we were glad to be there!
On New Year's Eve, we slept in, and then Becky and I went to lunch, and we went on some errands, while Vance and Ben watched the kids.  By the time we got back, the Dixon Family had arrived!  The kids worked so hard on preparing a play for us.  They "acted" and sang "We Wish you a Merry Christmas" and "Jingle Bells"!  It was so cute!  Eve instigated the whole thing!
The cousins had so much fun hanging out together.
We put the gate up for Clark when we wanted to keep him upstairs, but he always seems to find a way around the obstacle.  He's too funny!
It was so fun to see and hold Drew!  He is so cute!
Of course we had to keep up the tradition of having fondue and slush on New Year's Eve.  We had a Chili Fondue for Dinner, Chocolate Fondue for Dessert (it's the best part), and we rang in the New Year with Slush!

We all made it to midnight except for Logan and Clark!  It's going to be a great year!
...TOO TIRED!
