DAY 24--Christmas Eve

We had the Skidmore's traditional Soup and Cheese Bread for dinner.  Nani made three soups which were Taco Soup, Tortillini and Spinich soup, and a Ham and Potato Soup.  They were all so good.  Then we acted out the Nativity.  Grandma and Grandpa Gibson came for dinner, and the were good sports to help us act out the Nativity.  Nani was the Narrator, Grandma and Stacey were angels, I was Mary, Vance was Joseph, The boys were the Shepherds, Grandpa Gibson, Grandpa Skidmore, and Burke (not in the picture because he was trying to take video) were the three wiseman.  It was good to remember the true meaning of Christmas!

Stacey got us this hard Christmas Puzzle to work on this season.  It is very challenging!

The boys were able to open one gift before bed--of course pajamas!

DAY 23

The boys wanted to put up this tent for their fort.  After church, they helped put up the tent.  Then they had Burritos and Apples for lunch.  We decided to have lunch in the fort instead of dinner because we were going to Nani and Grandpa Skidmore's house for dinner.

When the boys were horsing around in the tunnel and tent, Brady lost his tooth next to his teeth that the dentist fixed.  He comes out of the tent, holding his tooth, and says, "Mom, I didn't mean too!"  At least it was a tooth that was supposed to come out, as opposed to the permanent teeth that we had to fix!  Brady's has lost six teeth so far.  The tooth fairy came this night.

DAY 22

The boys were still with Grandma and Grandpa Gibson.  We met up with them later in the evening.  It was nice to have time to get the shopping done without the boys.  The boys had so much fun hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa.  It was a nice day out, so instead of playing in the snow, they practiced dribbling the ball, riding bikes, and playing four square.  We'll have to go to the mountains another day to have our snow day!

The Bishops arrived in the evening.  They are heading to California tomorrow.  It was good to see them.  The boys had fun with their cousins.  They were watching the movie "The Christmas Orange" when we arrived, so we finished the movie with them.  Then we went home.  Thanks for all you do, Grandma and Grandpa!

DAY 21

I took the boys out individually, and I let them choose a present for their brothers.  They had so much fun thinking of what their brothers would like.  I took Logan and Clark today, but I could get Brady alone until Christmas Eve.  That's the way life is, but we got it done, and they had a good time!

Today was a BUSY, but FUN Day!  It was the last day of school before Winter Break.  I helped out in Logan's class this morning.  Logan's class did many fun Christmas projects, and they ended the party with a concert.  They played Christmas music while the kids sang!

Mom and Dad watched Logan and Clark while I helped out in Brady's class party in the afternoon.  Brady's class made Gingerbread houses with graham crackers.  They had a lot of fun, but they were all so hyper, so Brady's teacher, Ms. Nash, took the kids outside at the end of class to run some energy off!  It was good for them to RUN!

When Brady and I got home from school, I packed the boys over night bag because they were going to stay the night at Grandma and Grandpa Gibson's house so that Vance and I could get some shopping done.  They were so excited!  On the way to Grandma and Grandpa's house they stopped at Sam's Town to see the Mystic Falls Light Show.  The boys loved the lights!  They had so much fun!

DAY 20

We all had fun decorating sugar cookies.  We used left over frosting, sprinkles, and M&M's to decorate the cookies!  Logan wanted to save this plate for Santa.  The boys ate the rest!

We went to the library, and I let the boys each choose a Christmas book.  Then we came home and read them.

DAY 18

Brady got his teeth fixed today!  We went to our regular family dentist, and they referred us to a pediatric dentist.  He was able to fix his teeth, and I think they look pretty good!  He is so lucky!

We just drove around different neighborhoods close to us.  I love to look at all the Christmas lights!  We had a great time!
