Kite Flying

The boys got this Kite for Easter, and they have been begging to try it out.  Today was the perfect windy day to fly a kite.  We each took turns flying the kite.  When it wasn't their turn to fly the kite, they played on the playground.  The boys had so much fun learning to fly the kite.

Logan finished up his swim lessons about a week ago, and his teacher told me that "Logan can Swim"!  Logan still wore a life jacket because he wasn't very confident yet.  One day he couldn't find his life jacket, so Vance to him to jump in and see what happens.  He knew his Dad would be there to help him if he needed it, so he jumped in.  He has been doing great ever since.  Logan is a great swimmer!  Clark loves to swim too, but we make sure that he has his life jacket on! 

Nevada Moves Day

It was a beautiful day today, and Brady was excited to walk to school today, so we did!  Today was Nevada Moves Day where we were supposed to walk to school.  We walked more often last year because we only had one car.  This was our motivation to walk to school today.  It's fun to walk to school when it's a nice day out!

My Soccer Studs

Today Mom and Dad came over to spend time with us.  They watched Clark, while I took Logan to Pre-School.  They also helped me clean my house.  They are so helpful, and I appreciate all they do for me and my family.  This afternoon Logan had his soccer pictures, and the photographer said that she would take group pictures of siblings if we wanted any.  I love this picture!  Clark watches his big brothers, and he does what they do.  He loves to play soccer too!

After I dropped Brady off at school, we came over to Nani's house to spend time with the cousins.  Lynleigh, Cameron, and Avry came today.  Whitney and Madeline drove to St. George to meet Chip for dinner at his conference, so Abby and Quinn slept over at our house.  After Brady's soccer practice, we picked up the rest of the kids, and brought them to our house.  Brady, Logan, Abby, and Quinn slept in the same room.  Clark slept in his crib.  They did great, and they loved it.

I watched two boys(Coleman and Brayden) in the morning.  I dropped Brady and Coleman off at school about 8:40am.  Then another mother picked Brayden up around 9:45am to take him to Pre-School.  We went to Logan's Swim Lesson at 10:00am.  Abby and Quinn came with us.  Then we went to Taco Bell for Lunch, and then we took Logan to Pre-School at 12:00pm.  We finally made it to Nani's house around 12:20pm.  Whitney made it back from St. George, UT around 3:30pm.  The kids had fun playing!  That night we celebrated Madeline and Avry's one-year birthday.  After the celebration, Whitney packed up the kids and drove back to St. George, UT to meet Chip.  They decided to break up the trip, so they drove the rest of the way home on Friday.

After I dropped Brady off at school, we headed over to Nani's to hang out with Lynleigh, Cameron, and Avry.  We took the kids to the park, they played the Wii, and we went swimming.  Logan and Cameron loved playing together.  They were good buddies.

Lynleigh, Cameron, and Avry made plans to hang out with her friend Aubrey today, but they came to Brady's soccer game.  (Of course, I forgot to get pictures of them there.)  Brady liked having them there!

Lynleigh's 30th Birthday is on the 20th of this month, so we decided to have her birthday dinner and cake today.  It was fun to see them!

Today we went swimming with Lynleigh, Cameron, Avry, and her friend Aubrey's family.  Then we had dinner and Family Home Evening.  Nani taught the lesson, and she did a good job with letting the kids help.  Then we had otter pops for the treat.  We had a good visit with Lynleigh, Cameron, and Avry.  Jason had to finish up work before he came down.  Jason's sister was getting married on Friday, so he was flying in on Wednesday.  Cameron borrowed Logan's old church outfit for the wedding.  He was going to be the Ring Bearer.  They spent the rest of the time with Jason's family. 







Plant Observation

For Brady's homework assignment tonight, he had to pick a plant in the back yard, draw a picture, and write a description of the plant.  He chose the Rose Bush.  He was very excited about this assignment.  He wrote: "I observed a rose bush.  They have oval leaves and they have little leaves and big leaves."

New Outfits

The boys got these outfits for Easter.  It is fun to get new clothes.  It is hard to take pictures of three wiggley boys.  Today was back to school for Brady, and that meant back to normal routines of school, homework, soccer practices, and early bed.  We tried to make things as normal as possible, but Whitney and the kids were still in town.  The boys love spending time with their cousins.  It was a fun day!
