Photo Shoot

Taking pictures with three little boys is always a challenge, but this is how life is with the Skidmore Family at this time.  We always strive for that perfect picture, but lets be realistic--there is no such thing as a "Perfect" picture.  I love to see the boys' personalities shine through in these pictures.  I think overall, we were able to capture some cute pictures!

Thanksgiving

11/21/2012

The boys have been begging for their cousins to spend the night at our house.  So we decided to have Abby and Quinn stay over the night before Thanksgiving.  The kids had so much fun, but they would get up way too early.  They played in the morning, and then we went over to Vance's parents house so that Vance could start frying the Turkey.

11/22/2012
Chip and I took the kids to the park to play.  It was a beautiful day!

Then we came back to the house to help set the table and get ready for Thanksgiving Dinner.

We had a great Thanksgiving!  We had 17 adults and 6 kids.  It was quite the group.  It was so fun to be with family and friends.  There are so many things to be thankful for.  I am especially thankful for this gospel, and for our Savior.  I am also thankful for Vance and the boys.  It was a great day to count our many blessings!

The Final Soccer Games

 Game # 7  10/20/2012--Avengers vs. Earthquakes

Logan had a good game, and he even looked like he was having fun!

Game #7 10/20/2012--Sidekicks vs. Dust Devils
Brady's team is used to winning all the time, but the Dust Devils were super good and beat us 4-0.  I think it was a good learning experience for the boys.  They need to go into every game with a good attitude.  I'm sure they will learn from this and do better next time.

No Games 10/27/2012

Game #8  11/3/2012--Avengers vs. Cheetahs
Logan's team played very well even though they lost 2-1.  The other team was used to winning, and couldn't take that it was a close game.  The kids were fine, but the parents of the other team were being bad sports.  I couldn't believe it!

Game #8  11/3/2012--Sidekicks vs. Highlanders

Brady did very well, and he had a couple of chances to make a goal, but they did not go in.  His team won this game, and they all played a great game.

Game #9  11/10/2012--Avengers vs. Red Devils

This was Logan's teams last game of the season, and they all did great!

Game #9  11/10/2012--Sidekicks vs. Thunder

This was Brady's team last regular season game, but they have a tournament next weekend.  He had a great game.  He almost scored, but he didn't quite get it in the goal.  It has been another great season!

Tournament Time--11/17/2012--Game #1  10:00am  Sidekicks vs. Arsenal

Brady's team won, and everyone played very well.

Game #2--Sidekicks vs. Vortex

I didn't get any pictures of Brady in this game, but his team won and they all played very well!

Brady's team had one game scheduled on Sunday at 9:30am, but he chose not to play on Sunday.  We found out that his team won that game, and made it to the Championship game.  They played the Dust Devils in the Championship game, and lost.  They had a great season, and Brady loves to play soccer.

Logan's Soccer Party

Logan likes his soccer coach.  He celebrated his soccer season at The Yogurt Bar.  He had fun playing with his teammates in the game room, and he was most excited about getting another trophy!

Birthday Celebration

11/3/2012
Connie watched the boys, while Vance and I went to Coyotes (Mexican Restaurant) for dinner.  Then we went to the movies.  We had a fun night.  When we got home, we checked on the boys, and we found Brady and Logan asleep in the bathroom.  I can't believe they think that's comfortable!  Funny boys!

11/4/2012

I had a great birthday!  Vance served me breakfast in bed even though it was Fast Sunday.  I forgot it was Fast Sunday until we were at church.  Then we went to Nani and Grandpa Skidmore's house for my birthday dinner.  We had Lasagna and Breadsticks.  It was Yummy!  Connie also made me a coconut cake.  The boys helped with the candles and decorations.  Clark thought he needed to help me blow out the candles.  I am so blessed to have such a good family!
