Spring Break

We went to Utah for Spring Break.  After the boys' games on Saturday, March 31, 2012, we drove to Becky's house in Orem, Utah.  We got there pretty late.  Brett, Kristi-Lynn, Sadie, and Colton were there, and Angie, Darin, Gavin, Ellie, and Greyson were also there.  It was fun to see everyone.  Sunday, April 1st, we watched Conference.  Brett, Kristi-Lynn, Angie, and Becky went to the afternoon session at the Conference Center.

This morning The Bishop Family headed back to Boise.  We played a fun game of Disney Headbanz.  Then we went to Kangaroo Zoo in the afternoon.  It had big slides.  The kids loved it.  Even Clark tried and loved the BIG slides.  He is a climber!

Becky teaches Breann's Pre-school on Tuesday and Thursday morning.  The kids were so good, and Becky did a good job.  Even Clark was into it.  He sat so still and listened.  I couldn't believe it!  Then we went to the Fire Station, and Ben gave us the tour.  The kids loved getting in the Fire Truck, and trying on Ben's Fireman's clothes.

Then we went to Aunt Janelle's House in Bountiful, UT for dinner.  She made Hawaiian Hay Stacks, and we had ice cream cones for dessert.  Brett set up this visit with Janelle, Durrell, Bill, Bart (Kim's husband), Kade, Kallie, Jane, Amy, Tate, Piper, Roman, Mike, Ashley, Makell, and Aiden.  It was fun to see everyone!

We left Becky's this morning, and headed up to Farmington, UT to see my Grandpa Gibson.  We had a good visit, and he still seems strong as ever.

Then we continued north to Logan, UT where we met up with Grandma Skidmore and Tutu and Papasan for lunch.  Then we went to feed the ducks.  We stayed the night at Tutu and Papasan's House.  We had a good visit!  It was fun to see them!

We packed up after breakfast, and stopped by Grandma Skidmore's house to visit a little bit on our way out of town.  Then we went to IKEA, and then met up with Chip and Whitney  to Caravan to Las Vegas.  Chip drove his company car down to St. George, UT because he had a conference there the following week.  About an hour into the trip, Madeline was being fussy, so I ended up driving their van so that Whitney could take care of the kids.  After Chip dropped off the company car in St. George, UT, he drove his van the rest of the way to Las Vegas.  We finally made it home!  It was a fun trip!

St. Patrick's Day

Logan celebrated St. Patrick's Day at Pre-School (Thursday, 3/15/12).  He made a Leprechan's Hat, and he found his pot of gold.

On the Friday after St. Patrick's Day, Brady had to bring in a Leprechaun Trap.  They sent a note home saying that no one has caught the Leprechaun yet.  Brady was so excited to make a trap, so he worked on this trap with his Dad.  He really thought that he was going to catch the Leprechaun, but the Leprechaun was too fast for him.  The Leprechaun did manage to take some gold, and leave a charm to let him know that he came.

Logan's Pre-School Party

Logan got to bring cupcakes to Pre-School today.  He was so excited!  He asked for a Lego Spiderman cake, but since there is no lego spiderman, we decided to have spiderman cupcakes for his Pre-School class, and a regular Lego Cake for the family.  He was the star at Pre-School today!  What a BIG Boy!

Logan's Birthday Party

This year Logan had a family party!  We celebrated his birthday a little early because Grandpa Skidmore had a job interview in Utah on his birthday.  I made Sweet N' Sour Chicken for his birthday dinner!  Logan loves lots of different foods, and it was very hard for him to make up his mind about what to have for his birthday dinner.  He kept changing his mind.  Brady finally convinced him to ask for Sweet N' Sour Chicken.  Nani and Grandpa Skidmore, Stacey, Kiley, and Burke and Germania came over for dinner.  Logan was excited that they could come to his party! Then we opened presents.

Then we had some cake and ice cream!  Logan asked for a Lego Cake, but he kept changing his mind about what kind of Lego cake.  Sometimes he wanted Lego Spiderman, Lego Batman, Lego Head, or Lego Bricks.  We finally decided together on a Lego Head with some lego bricks around it.  It's NOT perfect, but I think it turned out good.

I think Clark enjoyed the cake the most!  Logan had a great celebration, and I can't believe he's turning FIVE!

UNLV Basketball Game

Vance's social group at work got tickets to the UNLV vs. Wyoming game.  Vance's mom watched Clark while we went to the game.  Stacey and her dad used Burke's tickets and came to the game with us, but they were in a different section.  We could see them with our camera and binoculars.  Brady and Logan had a good time.  The best part for them was the snacks and the opening of the game.  It was a good game.  UNLV won the game 74-63.
