Big Birthday Bash

We decided to do a big friend party for Logan's 4th birthday this year.  His 4th Birthday Party was on Saturday, March 5th from 11:00am-1:00pm.  He was so excited, but he couldn't decide if he wanted a Toy Story or Cars themed party.  So we did both!  He wanted a Toy Story cake with Woody and Buzz on the cake.  I was a little stressed about how I was going to do that, but then I found these cool rocket pans with the Woody and Buzz cake toppers.  I also ended up doing cupcakes for the kids because we had so many, and I found these cool Toy Story edible stars to put on the cupcakes.  We ended up having about 19 kids at the party!  It was a blast!

GAMES--We played a Ring Toss game, Bean Bag Toss into Buzz's mouth, Toy Story Bowling, Cars Checkers, and a Cars Pinata!  They also decorated and put there names on their bags to put all the treats in that they got from the party.

ALL TIRED OUT

That night we went to Nani and Grandpa Skidmore's house because we wanted to spend time with Whitney, Chip, Abby, and Quinn.  They were in town from Utah.  Nani had an Angel Food Cake for all the March birthdays (Chip, Logan, and Kiley).  Abby and Logan decorated the cake and put way too many candles on it.  Nani also had many activities for the kids to do.  They decorated their paper with stickers and stamps, and then Nani read them some stories.

On Logan's actual Birthday, we had a family party.  He chose Sweet and Sour Chicken for dinner, and then we sang happy birthday again so that he could blow out the candles again.  We gave him his presents from us to open today!  He had a great Birthday!

Thank you, Grandma and Grandpa Gibson, for the cool shirts!  The boys love to see it change colors in the sun!

Smores

Brady and Logan have been begging for Vance to make a fire so that we could have smores.  Maybe Logan got excited about having a fire after his visit to the firestation, so we decided to have it be our Family Home Evening treat.  They invited Nani to come join the fun.  They had fun, but Clark was hard to keep track of.  He thinks that he is big enough to do his own thing, but he made me nervous that he was going to trip and fall into the fire.  I just had to follow him everywhere so that didn't happen.  It was a fun family night.

Logan's Pre-School Fieldtrip

Logan was able to visit the Firestation No. 94 located in Henderson on Valle Verde and Warm Springs with his Pre-School class.  They watched a cool video about fire safety, and then they got to explore the trucks.  Logan had such a fun time that he has been saying that he wants to be a fireman when he grows up.  Doesn't he make a good Fireman?!?

Valentine's Day

Brady had his Valentine's Day Class Party today, and I was able to go with Logan and Clark. In the class picture, Brady is sitting by the girl in the red sweater.  Logan seemed to blend in with all of the other kids.  They had Pizza and many fun activities!  Then at the end of class, they all passed out their Valentines!  Brady got too many Valentines, but he had a fun time.
Logan's Pre-School class Party was last Thursday, February 10th.  He also got many Valentines, and he had a fun time!

To celebrate Valentine's Day, we had Chocolate Fondue for Family Home Evening Treat.  We had Strawberries, Pretzels, and Cheesecake to dip in the chocolate.  Vance also got me beautiful Roses for Valentine's Day.

Nani's Birthday Celebration

Nani's (Vance's Mom) Birthday is really on Valentines Day, but we decided to celebrate it on Sunday.  Nani usually cooks every Sunday, but we decided to give her a break  this week for her birthday.  We had dinner at our house.  We had Pork Tacos and Spanish Rice.  Nani insisted on bringing her own Pie from Marie Calendars.  The boys made her a Valentine!  She had a good birthday because she didn't have to cook or clean.  It was a great day!

Clark

Clark is fascinated with sticking out his tongue at everyone.  He thinks it is Hillarious!  Maybe that's why he's red around his mouth.  Anyway, it is hard to feed him because he is always pushing it out with his tongue.  He's just too cute!
