Christmas Day

Santa came to our house, so we spent Christmas morning at our house.  The boys woke up around 7:30am.  Then we went downstairs to see what Santa brought.
Santa Clause wrote a note saying how much he enjoyed the cookies and milk.
Santa brought Brady and Logan a Batcave.  Brady also got the Riddler figurine, and Logan also got the Penguin figurine.
Santa brought Clark a Little People Train Station set.
...other present opening.
Brady got some new church clothes, and a Batman watch which was one of his favorites.
Brady always wanted a Helmet so that he could ride his Skateboard.
Brady and Logan also each got a new Wii game--Super Mario Brothers and Indiana Jones 2.

Batman Books and Underwear.. what could be better than that!
Logan got a Ship Lego Set,
 ...Toy Story 3 puzzle,
and some cars from the Heflins.  Logan also got some clothes and many other things.
Clark was a little fussy all morning until he opened this Sea Horse from the Heflins.  It was one of his favorites.  I guess all the excitement was getting to him.

Logan and Clark seemed to be more interested in the stockings!
As soon as we were finished opening all our presents at home, we immediately went to Nani and Grandpa Skidmore's house for more present opening.
After we opened all the gifts, we hung out and enjoyed each others company.
Nani, Grandpa, Tutu and Papasan, Stacey, Whitney, Chip, Abby, Quinn, and Burke and Germania were there.  Burke got a K'nect for his XBOX for Christmas, and Brady really got into it.  Stacey and Brady played some Adventure games and enjoyed the dancing.

It was a very Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve Traditions

We went over to the Skidmore's house to be with family, and participate in family tradition.  The Skidmore tradition on Christmas Eve is to have soup and cheese bread, and then for the program to act out the Christmas Story!  We even had real costumes this year, and the kids were so cute.  It was a good spirit in remembering the true meaning of Christmas!
Germania, Stacey, and Abby as Angels
Junior(Germania's brother) was the Camel and Brady, Logan, and Clark were the three Wisemen
Vance and I were the shepherds, Whitney and Chip were Mary and Joseph, Quinn was Baby Jesus, Burke and Chad were Donkeys, and Nani was the Narrator.

Fun Christmas Activities

Gingerbread Village
Stacey and Whitney put the frosting on so that Brady, Logan, and Abby could put on the candy.  They had so much fun putting on the candy, but most of all they loved eating it!

Then we made a Cream puff Christmas Tree put together with White Chocolate.

We also played fun games that Nani bought for the kids.
Wac-a-Mole
EleFun
Zingo (like Bingo)
We played at the park.
...and we made sugar cookies for Santa.

Logan's Potty Trained

It was a long road, but Logan finally did it!  He filled up his Potty Chart, and he has been doing very well ever since!  He has been working on this chart since August.  First, he would earn a sticker every time he did #1(pee) in the toilet.  Then once he was doing well with that, we changed it to every time he did #2 (poop) in the toilet.  By the end we changed it to where he could earn two stickers a day.  He would earn a sticker if he did #2 in the toilet, and if he didn't have any accidents that day!  He finally finished filling up his potty chart on Christmas Eve, so Vance took him for his special treat!  His special treat was supposed to be going to Baskin Robins, but it was closed, so they went to Burger King, and Logan got an Oreo Shake!  It was a great day!  Good Job Logan!

Brady's Birthday Bash!

Brady turned six years old this year, and he wanted a "Batman" Party!  He talked about his Birthday Party all year, but he decided that he wanted to do a Batman theme during the summer!  He would sit down with Nani (Vance's mom), and make lists of what he wanted.  Brady really wanted to be involved in the planning, so he was a great help!  It was a fun party, but I was glad when it was over!
He had a "Batman" Cake!
We played lots of games---they made bat planes, popped the balloons to find the boomerang inside, threw the boomerang to knock over the bad guys, we had a batman pinata, and we played pin the bat on the batman.

He had many people come---Aunt Stacey, Nani and Grandpa Skidmore, Aunt Germania, Uncle Burke, Junior (Germania's brother or "High Five" as Brady calls him), Tutu and Papasan (Vance's Grandparents), and his friends--Jeremy, Amanda, Gavin, James, Ben, and James, and of course, Vance, Logan, Clark, and I was there!  I can't believe we all fit in our little house!
They watched a "Batman" movie while we waited for Vance to pick up the pizza!
After we ate pizza, we had cake and ice cream!
Then we opened presents...Brady got way too many presents!  It was almost like Christmas!  He got a Joker's Fun House, Batman underwear, clothes, and a Lego Batman Wii game from Nani and Grandpa.  He got Two Iron man guys (one is remote control) from Jeremy and Gavin, Bakugan's from Dane, Batman capes and a snowmobile batman from James (one of the capes is for Logan), Batmobile from us, a Bat car from Amanda, a skateboard from Junior, starwars books and a pirate ship activity from Stacey, and night lights from Tutu and Papasan.
