Cub Scouts
Today was Brady's first Pack Meeting. They invited him because they will not have a pack meeting in December. They played chimes, made an ornament, and decorated a cookie. He had fun, but when they introduced him and invited him to play the chimes, he was a little nervous. He is so excited to be a Cub Scout. Now the fun begins!

Christmas Gift Exchange in November
Since the Skidmore's were not all going to be together at Christmas time, we decided to do the gift exchange after Thanksgiving with the cousins. That meant we had to be organized. My boys had all the girls this year. It was fun to buy for girls--something that I don't get to do too often. Brady had Madeline, Logan had Avry, and Clark had Abby. Then Abby had Logan, Quinn had Brady, and Avry had Clark. It was a fun time, and everyone was happy with their gifts.
Photo Shoot
Taking pictures with three little boys is always a challenge, but this is how life is with the Skidmore Family at this time. We always strive for that perfect picture, but lets be realistic--there is no such thing as a "Perfect" picture. I love to see the boys' personalities shine through in these pictures. I think overall, we were able to capture some cute pictures!

Thanksgiving
11/21/2012
The boys have been begging for their cousins to spend the night at our house. So we decided to have Abby and Quinn stay over the night before Thanksgiving. The kids had so much fun, but they would get up way too early. They played in the morning, and then we went over to Vance's parents house so that Vance could start frying the Turkey.

Chip and I took the kids to the park to play. It was a beautiful day!
Then we came back to the house to help set the table and get ready for Thanksgiving Dinner.
We had a great Thanksgiving! We had 17 adults and 6 kids. It was quite the group. It was so fun to be with family and friends. There are so many things to be thankful for. I am especially thankful for this gospel, and for our Savior. I am also thankful for Vance and the boys. It was a great day to count our many blessings!
