Quinn's Birthday Party

Before the party, we walked down to their park because we thought it was a nice day and the kids needed to run around.  On our way to the park, the wind started to pick up and then we saw some snow flurries.  Needless to say, we didn't stay very long.

Tutu and Papasan came down to visit, but they had to leave early from the party because a storm was coming and they wanted to beat the storm.  Papasan helped by blowing up all the balloons.  Clark thought Papasan was hillarious.  He is so cute!

Quinn turned "3 years old" today!  He had a "Super Hero" Party.  Whitney did such a good job planning the party!  She made super hero capes for everyone (with the help of Chip's brothers wife).  The kids had so much fun being super heros.  Good thing they have a big basement to play all the games.
 Cake Time!!

Present Time!!
The Party was so much fun, but it tired Nani and Clark out!

Visit with the Williams

We decided to take a trip to Utah for Quinn's Birthday.  Vance had to work, so Nani and Grandpa Skidmore drove with us.  We arrived late last night at Whitney's house.  Today I called Becky to see what their plans were for the day, and she said  to come on over.  Whitney had errands to do, so we went over to the Williams' house in the afternoon to hang out.  Tessa came home from school soon after we got there.  It was fun to surprise them.  The kids had fun playing together!  The weather wasn't too cold, so we were able to play outside.  Becky fixed a good dinner, and it was fun to see them.

Last Basketball Game

Brady had a good experience playing Basketball.  He loved playing even though he was the smallest on the team and it was hard for him to make a basket.  He looked forward to practices and games.  He had two coaches (Bryce and Devin), and he made some good friends.  At the end of the game, they passed out cupcakes and this basetball medal.  He is so proud of his medal.

100 Day Celebration

Tomorrow is Brady's 100 Days in School Celebration.  Everyone in his class had to bring in 100 of something.  Brady wanted to count out 100 starbursts to bring in.

Valentine's Day

After we picked Brady up at school, we frosted the cookies.  Logan and Clark  had fun decorating the cookies.  Brady decorated a couple, and then he wasn't interested anymore.

Today is Nani's Birthday.  We invited them over for dinner.  We had a cheese Fondue, and meatballs for dinner.  Then for dessert we a chocolate fondue.  The boys gave Nani and Grandpa the Valentines that they made for them, and we had lots of fun visiting and playing games.

Preparing for Valentine's Day

I takes a lot to get ready for Valentine's Day to make it a success.  The kids love to help out.  We made heart sugar cookies, but we ran out of time to frost them.  Clark's favorite part was to eat the cookies.  We'll just have to frost them tomorrow.  Then the boys worked on preparing their Valentines to take to their friends at school tomorrow.  Brady made 18 Valentines for his class, and Logan made 8 Valentines for his class.  They had so much fun!

Responsiblity Chart

The kids were complaining too much every time I would ask them to do something.  They would make the simple things (such as getting dressed) into a big deal.  I decided to make a chart of all the things that they were expected to do daily (take bath, get dressed, make bed, do chores, go to school, do homework, and read).  I also made a chore chart so that they knew what they were to do to help out around the house.  This week Brady was to clean the tile floors (which included cleaning the dining chairs), and Logan was to dust.  They took their jobs very seriously.  At the end of the day, we evaluated how their attitude was that day.  They are able to earn 5 starbursts a day to put in the jar.  When the jar is filled up, they can choose what they want to do (such as go to a movie, get ice cream, or buy a toy that they choose.  We'll see how long this lasts!  Hopefully it will change their attitude!

Kids Grow up too Fast

Brady came to me this morning, and showed me his missing top tooth.  He has now lost three teeth (two on the bottom and one on the top).  After I took Brady's picture, I decided to see what the other two were up to.  Clark would pick out a book, and pretend he was reading it himself.  Then I checked on Logan, and he was playing Angry Birds on the computer.  They are growing up too fast!
